What Quartet keeps
Your account is an email address, a username and a password. The password is stored hashed by our authentication provider, never in plain text.
Your questions and the answers that come back are kept as threads so you can reopen them. When MEMORY is on, Quartet also keeps a short summary of each thread so a later question can build on it. You can edit or delete any memory row on the ACCOUNT screen, or delete all of them at once.
A credit balance and a record of what each question cost are kept so the free grant and any later plan can be honoured.
Where it lives
Quartet runs on its own database, separate from every other Affirmi product. Nothing about your Quartet account is shared with, or visible to, any other app we make.
Who sees your questions
To answer, Quartet sends your question, and the thread context you can see on screen, to the four model providers whose names appear on each seat, through a routing service under its zero data retention setting. That routing sends each request only to endpoints that do not keep it. The providers process the request under their API terms, which do not permit training on it. Quartet does not sell your questions and does not show them to anyone else.
What we measure
A crash reporter records app errors, and an analytics tool records which screens are used. Both receive an account identifier and device details, not the text of your questions or answers.
To limit abuse, the relay keeps a hashed form of the network address used for sign up and for each question, for seven days.
How it leaves
Delete a thread and it is gone. Delete a memory row and it is gone. DELETE ACCOUNT on the ACCOUNT screen removes your account, your threads, your memory, and your credit record in one step; the email address is retired so it cannot be registered again. You can also ask us to do this by writing to support@affirmi.tv.
Children
Quartet is not for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly keep an account for anyone under 13.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Questions go to support@affirmi.tv. Quartet is made by Affirmi.tv Inc.
